In order to ensure that a brand is completely cruelty free, doesn’t test on animals at any point during the production of their products, I reach out to them via email. In this case I conversed with the brand through Instagram. Here are our messages.

Here is their response:
I’d love for Activist to be included in your list of cruelty free brands. I’m so glad you carefully vet the brands, and you are correct in assuming our suppliers do not conduct animal testing and out products are not animal tested by any third parties either.
I have already looked at their website and read about their mission and values which led me to conclude that Activist is indeed a cruelty free brand. On top of their response to my message on Instagram, I know that they are not owned by any parent company and that they do not sell their products in any countries where animal testing is required my law.
