In order to ensure that a brand is completely cruelty free, doesn’t test on animals at any point during the production of their products, I reach out to them through email. Here is my email exchange with Honey Sweetie Acres…
Good evening!
Thank you for reaching out and expressing interest in being listed in our database. I have a couple questions that’ll help me determine if your brand is cruelty free.
- Are any of your finished products or individual ingredients tested on animals?
- Are your products sold in mainland China where animal testing is required by law?
- Do your suppliers or any third parties test on animals on your behalf?
- Do you have a Leaping Bunny, CCF or PETA certification?
- Additionally, are any or all of your products completely vegan?
I ask these questions of every single one of over 300 brands currently listed on our website. Sorry if they sound repetitive or you already have answers to these questions on your website. These questions allow me to personally ensure the validity of a company’s cruelty free claims as thousands of my followers rely on the accuracy of my website. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you so much for your time!
